Message from the Chapter Polemarch..
Greeting Noble Brothers,
I hope that all is well with everyone and that you are ready for another year in Kappa. It is my pleasure to serve as your Polemarch for the fraternal year of 2021-22. As your Polemarch it is my goal to ensure the success of the greatest chapter in Kappa Alpha Psi. I have been planning and brainstorming new ideas to help enhance the chapter. I look forward to your support to make this a successful year.
As we all know, chapter insurance has risen in the last two years. We have an obligation to pay $3,100 for the insurance fee. The chapter cannot move forward with any business until the fee is paid. We need every brother to participate in helping us make sure we take care of all business necessities.
I would like to extend an invite to all brothers to be active and productive this fraternal year. It is my plan for us to have face to face meetings. We will offer to those who have concerns about meeting face to face the option to meet via zoom. The Keeper of Recorders will be sending that information to you before the set meeting on September 26th.
If any brother would like to participate in the MTA process, please complete the training requirements found on Kappaorg. All trainings must be completed by September 7th. If you have any candidates that are interested in joining the chapter, please have them reach out to me at pscottkapsi@gmail.com or Brother Amondo Harris at amondoh@yahoo.com.
Once again good brothers it is my pleasure to serve as your Polemarch. I pray to have a successful year and to build upon the bond of this great fraternity. I look forward to seeing and speaking with you all soon.
